Bunche Beach Preserve- Fort Myers, FL #beachwalk #4K. Filmed: 4/1/2022. 18201 John Morris Road. This was the day I took everyone on my TikTok livestream to Gullible’s Island for April Fool’s Day lol. This was my first time visiting this location and it was a very cool natural beach right in San Carlos Bay. #SanCarlosBay #Beachwalk #4K #FortMyers #bunchebeach

Bunche Beach is 26 minutes from Fernweh House and Loft. We love this beach for kayaking, sunsets, birding, and wade pools. Bunche is a preserve and more “natural” Florida rather than a tourist beach (no amenities at the beach, restrooms by the kayak launch which is up the road) so make sure that’s what you want if you head here! $2/hr for parking. This beautiful little spot pictured can only be ac...

Reviews Summary

Bunche Beach Preserve is praised for its natural beauty, uncrowded atmosphere, and stunning sunsets. Visitors appreciate the shallow, warm waters ideal for wading and the opportunities for birdwatching and kayaking through mangroves. However, some find the automated parking system inconvenient and the natural beach environment with potential debris less pristine than manicured beaches.

"I did have to pay for parking which was new for me. I went for memorial day (my birthday) and it was pretty calm. Not over crowded at all. The water is warm and shallow I walked at least 200 yards out and it never got up to my chest (I'm 5'2"). There are a lot of sticks and branches sticking up out of the sand you have to watch out for but otherwise it was really nice. The beach was pretty clean (I picked up 3 pieces of trash the entire time I was there). The water was so warm! It was heavenly 😍"

Kayla West

"A beach left to nature. Don't expect smooth sand in the water. Swimming has sea life, stones, and trees under the water. It's not crowded though and very beautiful"

CJ N

"Low tide, hiked the beach area for a couple of hours. A few shells, interesting tracks and few people.
Good size sailboat hanging out in the scrub bushes. Probably from the last major storm. Lots of shore birds ."
