Part two of how I took the two-hour ferry from Fort Lauderdale to Bimini Bahamas. - I would suggest boating here on a private yacht and spending a few hours there. -Based on other reviews, there isn’t much to do in the hotel, but you can stay overnight or get a day pass to the hotel. #bahamas #travelfeed #cruise #blacktravelfeed #florida #fortlauderdale #ftlauderdale #bimini #biminibahamas #bale...

"I am a Wildland firefighter myself and my family are trying to hit up all the Fire Museum's in Florida. This one was fantastic!! The staff were welcoming, well knowledged. We had such a great time."

JESS KARCHER

"A small and unique museum that runs off donations tucked away in the heart of Fortlauderdale. I first discovered this museum a while back when my child was invited to a birthday party. ( yes you can book a party here).

One of Fort Lauderdale's original fire houses turned into a museum. You really get a fell for what it would have been like to be a fire fighter in the 1920's. As most of the building is original. But their are plenty of other things to enjoy such as the history of the progression in fighting fighters. As well as old gear and antiques in fire safety. The kids will have a fun time as their are a few activities and games for them as well. The best part is you will leave with a vast knowledge of fire safety and what it's like to put your life on the line for others.

Well worth the trip."
