What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Flushing Cemetery is largely praised for its well-maintained grounds and the helpfulness of its staff, particularly groundskeepers who go above and beyond. While most visitors find the atmosphere serene and the employees accommodating, some have encountered less-than-ideal customer service interactions in the office, and map quality can be inconsistent.
"I went to gravesites of family members here. I had the section and plot number but, had a hard time finding the plot, so I went to the office and they gave me a map and showed me exactly where the plot was and I found it perfectly. Thank you to the woman in that Cemetery office, your help was much appreciated. The grounds are kept up very well. When you enter the building to get to the office, you must mask up. Also, there are restrooms on the premises, very clean. There is parking near the office and around the grounds. Follow the traffic rules, certain roads in the Cemetery are one way traffic."

"I recently buried my mother's urn this past week and we were treated with such kindness and care by a most amazing cemetery groundskeeper. His name was Sean and as he laid my mom's urn into the ground, he literally laid his body on the cold ground to place it gently in the ground. He was so young, but his emotion intellect and gentle demeanor helped us to let go and leave my mom. Thank you Sean for your support and gentle disposition."

"I taught my ex-wife how to drive in this Cemetery so she couldn't kill anybody.
The grounds are very well kept. I went to visit my parents grave and didn't remember exactly where it was so I stopped in the office and they gave me a map that looked like it was drawn by a preschooler.
I walked around for an hour in the cold and mud before I finally found a worker to help me find it.
