What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors consistently praise the Downtown Historic District for its unique charm, eclectic shops, and historic architecture, often describing it as stepping into another country. The hilly terrain and potential parking challenges are noted drawbacks, but the overall experience is highly recommended for its distinct character and variety of attractions.
"This was our most recent vacation destination, and it did not disappoint.
It's a classic "main street" style downtown with dozens of shops and a tight-knit vibe. We went in close to 20 of the shops. They varied in quality, but the reality is that there is something here for everyone.
We did 2 of the ghost tours offered in Eureka Springs. Both were great.
Also, a bit off the path are a bunch of other attractions worth doing.
If you are wanting to travel here, I suggest doing some decent research. We stayed 2 days and packed them to the seams with activities. You may find enough here for 4 days or 1 day or you may want to pass entirely depending on what you enjoy doing."

"This is the place to be in the Ozarks.
I've been to many places like this in the mountains of different states.
But this one has a unique charm🥳 and it's not overrun with tourists. 🫣
The shops are different 😍
The hotels and BnB options downtown are 100 years old!
Actually probably more at this point. 🫢"
