Our annual road trip to #Galena is in the books, but first we had to stop at Highway 20 Brewing in Elizabeth. The brewery is in a really neat setting, right in town in a Presbyterian church built in 1875. They also probably double their space with their backyard. They were super family friendly and as you can see our kids had a blast! We really enjoyed their porter, their Koslch & we brought ho...

"Stop #5 on the Revolutionary New Jersey tour!
Using the map from the Crossroads of the American Revolution, we will attempt to visit all 59 places in NJ that “witnessed the Revolutionary War - the buildings, battlefields, homes and encampments, starting with “The Cockpit of the Revolution” (20 places).
This is a beautiful church, located in busy Elizabeth NJ - right next door to the court building, so the neighborhood is very lovely and entertaining!
Unfortunately, when we visited both the church and the graveyard were closed. There are signed posts around the property describing the history of the area. Elizabeth has many interesting historic places to visit."
