I have been at the Prudential Center for six concerts this year, and each time has been a largely positive experience.
I need to give a huge shout out to their Rock Squad crew who does wheelchair escorts through the arena, as they have saved my butt time and time again. I believe four individuals have assisted me this year as I have a cardiac condition that makes navigating spaces like Prudential difficult and often dangerous— all four have been excellent, never minding stopping at the merch line or assisting me in getting food before the show. They always offer to pick me up once the show has ended and help me exit the arena as well. Please allow them to accept tips or something, I had no cash since the arena is cashless but I wish I could have tipped them!!
Another kudos to everyone working at VIP West entry, they’ve brought me a chair outside while waiting and always have been accommodating to myself and others who utilize that entry for ADA purposes. There’s two older gentleman who stand out for being so polite! And one security guard with long braids who never hesitates to answer my questions before doors.
All the staff in the Loge Boxes are also very very kind. Never a bad moment up there!
As for the cons:
The food pricing is abysmal. Please, those chicken tenders are good but not $16 good. $8 for a water is criminal. Please consider allowing empty bottles to be brought into the arena and filled for us disabled folks at LEAST.
I’ve had some issues at M&M tower with navigating the lines, and staff should be better educated on the ADA services they provide at the arena— not once was I given the information needed by one of the employees organizing lines outdoors, and I had actually been told several times that there was no ADA entry at all. I don’t fault them, but as this was during the summer months it made things more difficult than they needed to be."
