"Very nice historic place. Used to be county seat of Surry County before divided in two to form Yadkin and Surry County with Yadkin to South of the river and Surry to North. I went there a couple of times to the General Store. There's some kinda train station there and a low water bridge across the Yadkin river."

"Their website says " who says you can't go back in time?". Well, they have certainly proven that you really can! I love visiting this place. It is located in the historic village of Rockford North Carolina. The front porch is filled with rocking chairs, old benches and tables . It is charming and relaxing being able to order your food there and just sit outside, eat your lunch and simply enjoy the scenery in the relaxed atmosphere. All of their sandwiches are made with delicious , home baked bread and their fried apple pies and "sonkers" are the best around!!"
