"We showed up at 10 a.m. on Tues. (website hours say 10-5) to tour the house. One volunteer was outside waiting for another volunteer so they could do scrapbooking. A 2nd volunteered showed up & said a 3rd volunteer would be there at 10:30 a.m. The 3rd volunteer stated that the tours are by appointment only & we would have to go to the visitors center to make an appointment & they would contact them. (No where on the website does it say by appointment or reservation) All volunteers were very nice & friendly. The 3rd one even offered "a very quick tour but we are renovating". This is very confusing & disappointing as we are from out of state & today is our last day. I would suggest you update your website so people don't just show up."
