"Once you are on Daufuskie Island easy to find the restaurant in the old Melrose resort. Lots of golf cart parking. Inside seating has views to the ocean with large windows. Lots of patio seating in warmer weather . The crab ball appetizer was outstanding. Should have doubled the order. We came for the prime rib and they delivered. Meat was cooked to order. The spice rub was delicious. The side of Mac and cheese was super cheesy. The baked potato was a little undercooked. We had naked butter only but they offered toppings. Service was good. Cost for two with a tip was over $150"

"Absolutely wonderful food all around. I had the coconut shrimp, and crab cakes, with the key lime pie for dessert. My girlfriend got the buttermilk breaded chicken Sandwich , with the milkyway cupcake... all of wich was Absolutely to die for!
All the food was perfectly crispy and browned. ( even watching the others around us getting their food, all of it was perfectly cooked and very well presented. )
10/10 would eat here again. Price point is about on par for this island. Both of us ate for about $100. :-)"

"Great food with an incredible view! My favorite is anything they offer with redfish, but you don't need a knife for the prime rib or filet. Located right on the Calibogie Sound with the Atlantic framed by Hilton Head and Tybee Islands."
