What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Maragas Winery offers a scenic vineyard experience with unique, handcrafted wines, and hosts engaging events like grape stomping and wine dinners. While some visitors praise the outstanding quality and tradition, others find the wine quality inconsistent with the pricing. The winery can get busy, leading to service waits during peak times.
"We thought it would be great while visiting the area to do some wine tasting. Not impressed! Blaming the holiday weekend as why it was so busy but then heard others talking about how this place is always too busy. Which is great for their business. However, a 30 minute wait just to order the wine is not a good time when standing. Then your wine is given to you and off you go! Forget about asking questions because they do not have time for that. Ho to the Faith winery!"

"Setting is nice and the gentleman that took care of us was friendly enough, but unfortunately this is where the positives of this place end. Little to no conversation about the wine. The wine itself was hard to pallet and a bit odd. This would be fine if the prices reflected the quality of wine but unfortunately not..... several bottles up over $60. Don't like giving bad reviews but the price to quality ratio of this
Update: clearly AI automated response from the owner, didn't try to bring pets or animals into this place. Clearly doesn't care about honest feedback. Changing down to one star. Take it from a wine expert... drive past this place."

Doug, Gina, and all their employees were incredibly welcoming and made the experience even more special. It’s the perfect spot to enjoy great wine, quality time with family, and the stunning scenery. I highly recommend it!"
