What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors praise Cline Falls for its beautiful scenery, accessible short hikes, and refreshing river access for swimming and picnicking. It's considered a worthwhile stop for a quick nature escape, though some note the trail can be a bit rugged near the cliffs and the waterfall itself is not massive.
"Cline Falls is a great park. Lots of grass, and tons of river front picnic spots. Fishing here is ok, nothing huge that I saw. Walk just 1/4 mile downstream of the park, under the highway bridge, to Cline Falls. Super cool! Just be careful near the edge! Definitely worth the trip out of town, or a stop on your way through."
Chris Jewell
"This is a short trail down to the falls, but very beautiful. You start out on the trail from the south side of the highway and go under the bridge. The trail opens up, but just stay near the river and you will be good. Be careful as there are some taller cliffs you walk near. We extended our trip and followed the trail until we came upon a fence and private property. Please be respectful of the private property and turn around. There is a trail that you can go down to the river at this point. We ended up going back along the trail, but note there is a little scrambling and steeper trails here to get back up, but it makes it more fun, if you are up for the task. Overall a nice short trail with a beautiful waterfall, but if you want something with more vertical gain, or longer trail (it is only 1 mile round trip), look somewhere else. It is worth it if you are looking for a short jaunt though."
