Reviews Summary
Visitors consistently praise the Museum of Jurassic Technology for its unparalleled uniqueness and thought-provoking nature, often calling it a highlight of their LA trip. While some find its enigmatic displays confusing, most appreciate the intentional ambiguity and the opportunity to question reality. The rooftop tea lounge is a universally loved feature, offering a peaceful escape.
"Quirky, fascinating, portal to another world. Requires an earnest and sincere effort to follow the instructions — actually read each artifact story to connect the dots like the curators intended, and most importantly, not fall asleep when things get dark and cozy. I know this is asking for a lot from us screen-addicted, instantly gratified young visitors. 🥲
But if you have the patience and curiosity, it’s the loveliest strangest little place.
I thoroughly enjoyed every minute of my stay and was sad to have had to leave early (running late for next engagement)"

"We had a fun time walking around and looking at the displays. Not your average museum. Can be a little cozy when it gets busy. There are 3 floors with stairs that you will need to navigate. The subject matter is unique and thought provoking. If you like quirky and unusual experiences you will likely enjoy this. If you are liking for a basic or traditional museum you might not enjoy it as much. You need to buy timed tickets so you need to plan ahead."

"A very niche and eccentric museum. I recommend at least 2 hours before closing so you can see everything and get the tea/biscuits in the courtyard. I was there until they closed and they had started packing up the biscuits when I got up to the courtyard. Museum definitely won’t be everyone’s cup of tea but I think it’s worth visiting for a unique experience."
