"Highly recommend this place!! Great business ethics, friendly staff that is very knowledgeable, and is full of people extremely passionate about music. I came in for a second opinion on a simple tune up on my alto sax, I was told by another business it needed hundreds in repairs. Their saxophonist kept it 100 percent real and honest. He didn’t upsell or exaggerate, he told me exactly what he can do and why. As well as why the previous full rekey I was told I needed was unnecessary. On top of that when I came to actually pick it up I decided I wanted an upgrade for a jazz mouthpiece. A ~400 dollar Otto link 5# caught my eye immediately. Rather than go for the sale they told me very explicitly what the possible negative implications are for someone just relearning sax with a mouthpiece like that are. Unbeknownst to me this mouthpiece is the same that Coltrane used, absolutely blessed . 10/10 great store"

"Bryan was great! He was very patient with us. This is our first time renting to own from South Texas Music Mart.
The whole process was great. He explained to us the different types of clarinets , the different mouth pieces.
They even worked with my daughters school to create a supply bundle with everything that the music teacher required for each instrument.
This was amazing. We got everything we needed all at one visit.
