What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors praise Columbia River Park for its beautiful riverside setting, well-maintained trails, and family-friendly amenities like picnic pavilions and clean restrooms. It's a great spot for relaxation, outdoor activities, and enjoying scenic views of the Columbia River and bridge. Some minor issues like an out-of-order bike repair station were noted, and traffic noise from the bridge can occasionally be heard.
"A pavilion where one can have a picnic; a modest museum about Columbia inside; a closeup view of the art deco bridge and the river; a place to launch a boat. A great place to relax."
William Gall
"This is right by Veterans Memorial Bridge on the opposite side of river from Zimmerman Heritage. If you are a boater, this is a great spot to drop off at. Plenty of parking for you and your trailer. They have bathrooms that you can access during and after hours from outside. There is also a trailhead here for biking and walking.
The building can hold quite a few people and there is seating outside under cover at the main building or at the open benches by the river. There is also a place to bring a picnic basket under a pavilion (no grills though). There was a bike repair station, but it was out of order when I arrived. Their isn’t much historical items in the building as most of the signage is outside on the walking paths. The staff were inviting and friendly. There is no cost to enter, but donations are accepted.
It is right by the Susquehanna River so you can enjoy the views. Only issue is the traffic you can hear off the bridge."

"Super cute park. A few people fishing. Families hanging out. Benches available. Has plenty of parking and a covered pavilion with rocking chairs and tables. Clean bathrooms."
