"3 ways to camp. The more private area with trees that is across the street from the day use and entry to the sand recreation area. There are restrooms there, as well. Then there is the parking lot and day use area right next to the recreation area. There tends to be a lot of quad, bike, and side by side traffic through here and there is 1 bathroom.
Then, you can also find a tree to camp under out on the sand. Camp at your own risk. No bathrooms.
The beach is beautiful, the sand is fun, be very alert, though. Not everyone follows the rules. Make sure you get your permits and bring your flag for your sand toys so people can see you on the other side of dunes and such."

"Loved the place, had a blast. Only downside was traffic going in. We went around 2am and it was backed up from people stopping to let air out of their tires to drive on the sand. There was still plenty of room to camp even tho there was 1000's of people there. We went for the 4th of July so 🎆🎇 once it go dark until daylight. ATVs are running wild, so if you're looking for a nice quiet time don't go on July 4th.."
