What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors appreciate F.E. Warren AFB for its historical significance and the unique opportunity to see pronghorn antelope. The base offers a range of amenities and a sense of nostalgia for many. However, access can be a barrier for the general public, and some facilities are noted as being smaller compared to other bases.
"We live locally and are so happy to have access to a base. I've been to nicer bases with more amenities, but for the size and location, you couldn't ask for much more here at FEW. I've never lived in, but have seen in & out a variety of base housing and it all appears to be fairly nice, neighborhood parks all over. A few things available on base are BX/Commissary, GNC, Subway, Dunkin' Donuts, base theater, dry cleaner, barber, a tactical gear store, fam-camp, fishing ponds, great chow hall, bowling, golf, outdoor rec, education center, mechanic, gas station, hotel, library, swim pool, two nice gyms with 24hr access, and more."
