What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors consistently praise Mohawk Trail State Forest for its beautiful natural scenery, particularly the towering pines and the serene Cold River. The well-maintained campgrounds and family-friendly atmosphere are frequently highlighted as major positives. While generally well-received, some visitors note that water levels at the waterfall can vary.
"Started at the parking lot and walked the edge of the stream down to the waterfall. It was a nice walk. We found out on the way back that there is a trail between the road and stream if you prefer that. Very nice views and it’s amazing to see all the different rock formations and how the water eroded them differently. It has a few different shoots and little spillways. Some of the pools were loaded with tadpoles. I would love to come check it out again when the waters higher."
