What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Brushy Creek Lake Park is a beloved community gem, praised for its extensive trails, excellent playgrounds, and beautiful lake views. Visitors appreciate the free entry, ample parking, and family-friendly atmosphere, though some note the splash pad is best for younger children and many trails lack shade.
"Beautiful park right on the lake! The new splash pad is clean and nicely built, and we love that there's a locked gate around the whole area so little ones can't get out themselves! There are a few picnic tables in the shade by the splash pad, and a nice turf area to put down blankets and towels. I will say that the splash pad would probably be best enjoyed by kids 5 years and younger. My kids (8 and 6) were easily the oldest there, and they did still have fun, but were mostly surrounded by toddlers. There are also several benches and picnic tables around the 2 playgrounds. The bigger playground is great for older kids! There are trails that lead right down to the lake and lots of great areas for scenic pictures. My kids enjoyed walking along the trail and feeding the ducks at the waters edge! I definitely recommend bringing sunscreen or a hat as a majority of the park and trails are not shaded!"

We bike here often as a family and find myself along with my friends choosing this park for walks and biking most of the time.
Also great parks for the spending a relaxed time during the weekends.
They even have very good amenities. We did have a birthday party in one of the picnic spots a year ago and it was a blast 💛🌸✨lots of options for kids to play around during the birthday party. 🥳"
