Just like it normally does, the museum was offering demonstrations and chances to try printing for yourself. Presses were in operation and docents shared the incredible history of type, printing art, and the power of words put to paper. What could otherwise be a dry subject matter comes to life at the museum in a way I’ve not experienced before, despite seeing other exhibitions about printing. The event itself was grand — if a tiny bit overwhelming in scale — and offered so many vendors to buy and collect art from, as well as the demonstrations and hands-on experiences the museum is known for normally. If printing interests you, don’t miss this museum."

From the Gutenberg press to the screen printer, I gained insight into the lettering and designs that early on, helped to convey a message. Interesting how the evolvement of image transmission transcends time thru innovation.
Visitors are able to tour thru the museum on Saturday’s and with prearranged guide led group tours on weekday’s. It’s a great perspective on the production behind the scenes!"
