Reviews Summary

Visitors praise the Heritage Flight Museum for its impressive collection of vintage aircraft and the passionate, knowledgeable volunteers who enhance the experience. Many highlight the thrill of 'Fly Days' and the accessibility of the planes for photography. Some reviewers note the museum is small, suggesting it might be best for dedicated aviation fans rather than a general audience.

"Fantastic museum. A lot of great information. They are growing fast with more exhibits planned for the future. The docents are all very knowledgeable and really add a lot to the experience. We had several point out and show us things we would have missed on our own. It was like having our own personal tour guides. I can’t wait to go back again for a flight day."

Kyle Waggener

"Very small museum, just a few airplanes and some of the founders space memorabilia. These guys need to get more airplanes and some cool memorabilia. I’ve been to some small museums that have lots of cool artifacts to make up the difference in what they lack in aircraft. Not this one unfortunately. The most unique plane they have is one of the first aircraft shot down during the beginning of Pearl Harbor. Unfortunately not much else to see that would interest most aviation nerds. They do have flying aircraft that you might be able to watch fly, however you can do this for free on a day they are flying. If you’re not a die hard aviation fan I would recommend you skip this museum, just not enough to justify a special trip. If you have been to every airplane museum and want to waste $10 then go for it!"

Nick R

"It was so cool it was founded by bill anders. He took one of my favorite photos ever cool place would go again ."
