"Zero communication nor guidance after filing a civil lawsuit in the supreme court. They often say they can’t help with “legal advice” when you only call asking for updates on your case being that they don’t inform you with anything unless you try to call the courthouse, in which you most likely won’t even get an answer from the county clerk. Complete inconvenient as they are supposed to be the source of protecting and helping American abiding citizens. I filed my case in December 2024 to still have my case being handled with endless delays. Delays with no proper explanation nor communication. Lazy and rude workers/service all across the board. The NYC court system should be 100% ashamed."

"Small Claims - I filed a small claim in April 2024, I was given a court date of December 19, 2024. On December 19, 2024 I took a picture of their board with the cases and which court part I was going to be in. After that they took attendance and I stated I wanted to see an arbitrator, instead of the judge because there were 48 cases in front of me and about 30 of them wanted to see the judge. The judge only see about 8-10 cases, everyone who wanted to see the judge and they were 11 and beyond had to reschedule unless they were willing to see the arbitrator. I go into the room and state my case. The arbitrator was surprised and event told me because I was well prepared and made my case. I was done in 6-7 minutes. I was not given any papers, just that in 2 months I should get a letter from the court. February 18, 2025 I called and give them my case number. I'm told a decision has not been made. To give it another 1-2 months. April 21, 2025 I called again. This time around they tell me I was a no show to trial date. They asked me who was my arbitrator. There were only three individuals hearing cases (1 female judge, 2 arbitrators - a male and female). I tell them I didn't know his name because he never provided his name. I told them if they look at their record who worked that day they should be able to figure it out. They were we need a name. I told them why the court doesn't provide an attendance sheet like they do with jurors or have the judge and arbitrators give us a sheet right there. They just took my name and phone number and told me they will call me in regards to my case. But I have a feeling they are not going to do anything. This is the worst court I have ever been. If you go in here for anything gets everyone's name and shield or employee ID number. Write it on a piece of paper. If they ask why you need it let them know because of the incompetence of the employees from this place."
