"Definitely a must-see for tourists in LA! You can even look up the stars you want to find ahead of time and get their exact addresses on the map, which makes it more fun if you’re chasing specific celebrities.
The area near the TCL Chinese Theatre is the busiest — it really starts to crowd up in the afternoons and especially on weekends. Weekdays are more manageable, and if you go at night you’ll get the full effect of all the neon lights and energy. Personally, I recommend going in the morning if you want fewer crowds, or timing it so you catch both daylight (less busy) and evening (for the flashy lights). Totally different vibes depending on the time of day.
Parking is definitely challenging. You’ll find metered spots on nearby side streets with varying rates depending on the time, or you can park at Ovation Hollywood (moderate rates, and some nearby businesses validate — but not all).
Keep in mind it’s quite touristy, with plenty of souvenir shops and a few “tourist trap” attractions, and the sidewalks can feel a little dirty. Still, it’s one of those iconic LA experiences that’s worth seeing at least once."

"It was so fun to see all the stars and the best part was in front of the Chinese theater. I went home and googled photos of when the cement was done of my favorite ones and that was so cool to see. It is quite crowded on a Saturday and parking can be a beast but I found myself wishing I had time to do one of those open top bus tours. There were vendors everywhere which was fun, but also, they did put their set up over stars so I thought that wasn’t the most kind thing for those that may be there to find a certain star. But otherwise it was a fun afternoon finding people you know and love in those stars!"

"Absolutely awesome. My daughter and I have, over a couple years of visits, taken about 4-6 hours in, one day each visit to try and get EVERY STAR ON THE WALK.
Amazingly if we haven't gotten them all, we are less than 25 from getting them all.
Nothing one more visit will MORE than complete with less than an hours walk.
But WOW what fun it has been collecting them.
And what history there is.
Rather walking down memory lane with all the Names you forgot or barely knew from times past to current loves, you will find them all here.
And the people you see and/ or meet are incredible.
Some are friendly others obscure.
