Reviews Summary
Golden Gate Fields offers a unique blend of historic horse racing nostalgia and vibrant modern events like FoodieLand. Visitors praise the scenic bay views and the opportunity to experience diverse festivals. However, food prices can be high, and parking fees add to the cost of attending events.
"We went to Foodie Land!!! It was at Golden Gate Fields Berkeley. The parking was $15 and we had free tickets to get in the event. We didn’t have to pay for parking we just parked by the walking trail which is next to the $15 parking lot. It was easy parking because we went early when it opened the gates 11AM. There was long lines going around the event but the line went pretty quickly. The weather was great! Not too hot and not cold just perfect Saturday! 😇
Since we were early no food lines!!!!! But when there was it was pretty short and went fast! Food was good but expensive but we were prepared. They had a big eating area with live music and DJ! We had a BLAST!!!!"

"We visited golden gate fields for big bounce America bounce house. We had to go around to park. Parking was 10dollars. We can bring in our own food, chair, mat. They also had food trucks, water station and medics. Overall nice fields. We did not visit the horse race. The wind from the ocean made the place fresh.
Parking entrance is near the Buchanan street exit."

"Wonderful place, had a great time with family, learned how to bet the ponys, and chatted with other patrons, very fun time. Going back on next Sunday for 1$ dollar days, was not disappointed, but found out that its closing down soon. Food was nice just pricey, be sure 2 bring a pen or pencil. Don't need much money to bet on the ponys. Enjoy while you can, won't be there much longer."
