Found this in a thrift store. I found a “J. Swatsley” online but the signature is very different. I haven’t taken it out of the frame, so not sure if it’s an original or a print. Help!

Visitors often describe Boynton Chapel as a unique and serene hidden gem, particularly appreciating the detailed stave church replica and the peaceful grounds. The guided tours are highly recommended for their informative and engaging content. While some find it less of a typical tourist attraction and more of a retreat center, its beauty and intimate setting make it a memorable stop for many.
"Awesome little hidden gem. If you go, be sure to get the tour (tours run from 1-4) because the interior and the story of the creation are amazing"
Keith Yunker
"This was an odd place to visit, as it is part of Lawrence University, and not really an attraction. The chapel itself is quaint, but not especially accessible, as it is somewhat hidden off the beaten path and in the woods.
Visiting made us feel rather out of place, as it doesn't seem to be intended for tourist visits.
Despite that, it did seem like it would be a nice place to have a very small wedding, if that is an option."

"I am a photographer with a lot of experience photographing weddings at Boynton Chapel. It's actually where I photographed my first wedding ever so it always holds a special place in my heart.
The chapel itself is small, so that's perfect for an intimate ceremony with close loved ones. There is more room outside to bring in chairs for more people, and you can use the chapel as a beautiful backdrop."
