"I left midway through mass. The ushers didn’t have sense to escort 2 fifty something year old men out the door. Both men stood at back wall of the Nave - talking nonstop and chuckling - seriously throughout the readings, homily and after!
Both were definite distractions
so before I left, I stood in front of them to remind them where they were - but one guy (maybe both) reeked of alcohol when he spoke.
Brother Ray used shorter version of the day’s readings and Apostle Creed and which I guess left room (I suppose) for parish members to shout out names to pray for during petitions.
Several People came very late to mass. People and ushers (young kids) speak loudly during mass.
Quite honestly, it’s the most liberal mass I’ve gone to and I won’t return too.
I drove over to St Mary in Menasha 11 am mass (beautiful church) Amazing - Striking difference
