"Visited this cemetery during a father son road trip in 2022. My son and I are both horror flick and anything paranormal nuts! We stopped for one reason and one reason only. To visit the infamous and supposedly haunted grave of Kate Blood! We went during the day because we aren't about B&E or trespassing. So, it wasn't too spooky. In fact, it was quite peaceful. Her grave is located near the river. Not far from the entrance on the South East side. Her grave is adorned with all kinds of trinkets and tokens left by other visitors. The small area also includes the graves of her children. I still tried doing an EVP reading but listened later that day and heard nothing. The wind and birds made it difficult to record."

"My husband and I owned burial sites at another cemetery; but when we started walking at Riverside Cemetery and saw how meticulously kept up it was, we decided this was where we wanted our final resting place to be. We first met the groundskeeper, Lance, on one of our walks. Lance is out working hard everyday to keep the cemetery in its beautiful maintained condition. We told him we loved the cemetery and wanted to purchase plots; he then told us to speak with Deb DeBruin in the office; she listened to our wishes of not wanting our children to have to worry about anything when we pass and guided us through the process. We selected our plots and marker. Deb and Holly kept us informed of the status of our order. When the marker was delivered, it was even more beautiful than we had hoped for. Thank you Lance, Deb and Holly! You all made this a very stress free experience!
