Paddling Options: Shuttle Run vs. Day Paddle
Alternatively, visitors can opt for a shorter, self-guided day paddle, launching from Kings Landing and exploring sections of the run at their own pace. This is ideal for those who prefer a more relaxed outing or have less time. You can paddle upstream towards the spring head or explore downstream for a few hours before returning to Kings Landing. This allows for more time to enjoy specific spots, wildlife viewing, or simply relax on the water.
Both options provide access to the stunningly clear waters and natural beauty of Rock Springs Run. The choice depends on your desired level of exertion, time commitment, and whether you want to experience the full length of the river or a more focused exploration.
