It feels like such a prayerful place. We loved the whole place, but the views of the surrounding area are absolutely stunning—terraced farm land. You get a sense of quiet and space—where you can just be!"

"This is a beautiful yet highly unknown gem of Dutchess County. Today we took the house tour led by one of the Trustees, Bernadette, and it was great! Bernadette's love and passion for the property is very clear in her deep knowledge of the history of Wethersfield property and home. Not only was she informative about the house and its beautiful collection of art, but also the rich story of the gardens. There is a large scale garden restoration happening now and many ongoing projects and events at the estate. In addition to the house, there is also a tour of the carriage house available certain days. I would highly recommend an afternoon here, pack alunch and spend time in the beautiful gardens. The website falls far short of this estate and I strongly encourage a nice spring or summer outing here"
