"Lovely building with a fascinating story and vast fields to wonder around in.
We visited on a Monday morning and joined the tour at 11, so it was only the two of us with the tour guide! The history of the place was made even more interesting by the animated style of storytelling and interesting facts included in the recount.
After the tour, we had a cup of coffee and a slice of cake in the tearooms in the bottom of the building which also features a small collection of world war memorabilia and information on the role the Abbey played.
Really recommend!"

"Pleasantly surprised: The reason I have said pleasantly surprised is because approx 2 years ago we had a poor Afternoon Tea in the orangery. However, things have definitely changed as my partner and I have just had the loveliest day with thanks to a Wowcher gift voucher. We started off in the tea room with a delicious and freshly made afternoon tea followed by a stroll around the grounds. Staff were friendly, welcoming, and knowledgeable throughout our visit."

"We had a wonderful tour of the house - the tour guide was passionate, knowledgeable, and funny and we learned so much! It's nice that there is a cafe on site and the estate and grounds are so beautiful. Very rich history and although the tour lasts an hour it flew by and we were engaged the whole time. Would definitely recommend a visit."
