Reviews Summary

Visitors find St Olave's Priory to be a charming, small historical site with free entry and parking. While the ruins themselves are a quick exploration, many appreciate the informative boards and the peaceful rural setting. It's often recommended as a worthwhile stop when passing through the area, especially when combined with nearby attractions like animal sanctuaries.

"Not a huge amount to see. I would say it would keep you occupied for about 20 minutes but there is a lovely restaurant directly next door and some llamas as you drive into the restaurant but to enter the ruins you have to park, walk out to the main road, turn right then right down a grass track for about 100 metres then enter through a small gate.
Be careful as there are some steep steps down into the building as well as up onto the roof but combined with food and llamas would be a nice few hours for the family.
Both parking and entrance to the ruins are free.

"A small site, quite interesting. If you follow a sat' nav' it will take you to the entrance to Priory Farm restaurant and campsite, there is nowhere on the road to park. The entrance is via a small grass path from the main road. There are a few boards around the site giving some of the history. Worth a quick visit. Free to all."

Michael Carlile

"Small point of interest, worth visiting if you're in the area or passing by, can easily spend 30-45mins walking and having a look around.
It's free and there's some signage explaining some of the history, can't go wrong."
