"We Had a lovely afternoon walk around Tandle Hill Country Park today. The kids had a great time exploring the woodland trails, plenty of space to run around, climb, and discover little hidden spots among the trees. After a good wander, we stopped off at the playground areas, which were well-maintained and had a nice variety of equipment for different ages.
There’s a charming little café near the entrance where you can grab toasties, ice creams, and a selection of hot and cold drinks. It’s a great spot to take a break and refuel, especially if you’ve been walking for a while. The staff were friendly and the service was quick.
Parking was easy there’s plenty of space, and it’s free, which is always a bonus. We spent a couple of hours here and could easily have stayed longer. Some parts of the park are so peaceful, especially deeper into the woods, where you can just sit quietly and listen to the birds and rustling leaves. It’s a lovely escape from the hustle and bustle.
Highly recommend for families, walkers, or anyone looking for a bit of fresh air and nature. We’ll definitely be back!"
