What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Oyster Cove is a beautiful, secluded pebble beach praised for its tranquility and dog-friendly nature. Visitors appreciate the rock pooling opportunities at low tide and the scenic coastal path views. However, the steep access stairs and lack of facilities are noted drawbacks.
"Stumbled upon this little cove by accident....such a beautiful place....my 6 dogs me very few people.... perhaps the holidays is a time to avoid, but on a dull February day it's perfect....be helpful if other dog folk put their full poop bags in the bin provided....and if EVERYONE picked up after their dog!.....I picked up far too much that had been left by others ..... RESPONSIBLE PEOPLE PICK IT UP and BIN IT.....before the powers that be BAN DOGS 💜🙏🏻💜"

"Cute little cove, did some rockpooling and sat listening to the sea. Not a huge cove and no sand, but can walk round the corner to more coves and goodrington beach. Great for dogs and a quieter cove for the area!
Steep stairs down, from the coastal path. Would be quite small when the tide is in but still a good place to sit"

"Secluded pebble beach away from the crowds. Access is via a reasonably steep set of steps from the coastal path above, just don’t expect any shops or toilet facilities. Dogs welcome.
The information board at the top of the steps paints a dramatic picture of live here 280 million years ago… zoom in on my photo and take a look!"
