Reviews Summary

Visitors consistently praise the National SEA LIFE Centre Birmingham for its engaging exhibits, particularly the 360° Ocean Tunnel and the adorable penguins. The staff are frequently highlighted as friendly and knowledgeable, enhancing the overall experience. While some find the centre can get crowded and suggest minor updates to certain areas, it remains a highly recommended and enjoyable day out for families and marine life enthusiasts.

"Awesome experience,amazing staff!!
They have designated talk and feed times for penguins and otters, so you could enjoy that.
Staff was very friendly and helpful.
Specially enjoyed the penguins.
Would have given a 5 or even more if otters were close instead of on screen. However I understand and appreciate that they need to adapt first to this environment before exposing them to public.
Overall, it was a very fun experience and Happy Weekend instead!!"

Ayushi Pawar

"It's an awesome experience with the kids, they kept on smiling and aspiring for more sea creatures.
Very good enough, the best was saved for last, the sharks glass tunnel. Seeing the various types of sharks swimming among the small fishes.
It was when we were a little bit in that I noticed the fishes were swimming below our feet us as well as above our heads. The wide ray fish stick to the glass above you canopying itself, making you feel you can touch it.
Also, the jungle like nature is beautiful, nice pictures were taken there.
The continuous spiral arrangement for movement of the centre was well planned. The kids loved the boat paper making section as well as the pirate hats and the virtual reality experience. I would love a revisit."

Chris Avbenake

"There is a helpful little tip for visiting - in the corner of the gift shop there is a lift back up to the toilets. These are back at the beginning of exhibition so you can head round again to pick up any bits you missed!
It is a great half day out with the kids. The centre feels like it could do with some updating and refresh on some of the side activities but the exhibits are all great, and the feeding / talk times flow quite well through your visit. The staff are all super friendly and helpful, our daughters especially loved the roaming pirate!"
