What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Kings Heath Park is widely praised as a well-maintained, tidy, and beautiful green space with diverse areas, including woodlands and a pond. Visitors appreciate the free parking, on-site cafe, and accessibility for prams and wheelchairs. The garden centre is a notable bonus. The main drawback mentioned is the potentially narrow and small car parks.
"Very nice park which is well maintained and tidy. Park has access to a garden centre which is a lovely touch and also has toilet facilities on site too, which is always a plus! Park is flat and has a clear path so is suitable for wheelchairs and pushchairs which again is a massive positive. Overall a lovely park which is worth a look if you are in the area.
The only downside is car parks are small. The park has two, which is excellent but both are narrow and if driving a moderately sized vehicle, you may find it a bit fiddly to get in and out! Just something to keep in mind."

"A hidden gem. Walked through this park recently and was surprised to see it's been very well maintained and beautifully planted (in traditional city council park style). Loads of people using the facilities with families and dogs all having fun. Free parking too and a cafe with facilities."

"A popular park, deservedly so. Well kept with very varied areas. We love the woodland walk, the bird song was beautiful. The pond area is lovely, we sat there having a take away coffee, listening and watching the water birds. So much to enjoy. Two childrens'areas, very popular. Lots of seasonal flowers, starting with carpets of snow drops, followed by crocus, daffodils etc. Our only regret is that what used to be called 'The T.V. garden" is not open to the public."
