What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors consistently praise the Menai Heritage Bridges Exhibition for its fascinating content and the exceptional dedication of its volunteers. The affordable entry fee and convenient parking add to its appeal, making it a highly recommended stop for anyone interested in engineering history or local heritage. Some may find the space intimate, but the wealth of information and the warmth of the staff more than compensate.
"It is one of the main bridges connecting Bangor of Wales mainland and the Isle of Anglesey. It was closed to traffic during the visit owing to urgent and very important structural maintenance. However, pedestrians and bicycles can still pass the bridge. Visitors can enjoy viewing the scenery safely and quietly. Apart from its historical and traffic importance, it is really a great place for viewing Anglesey, Menai Strait and Bangor at the same time. It is a place that must travel for every visitor of the Isle of Anglesey."

"This is quite a tiny museum to educate people about the history of the two bridges across the Menai. It's run by volunteers, who are keen and knowledgeable. We spent an hour in there reading the board ds and looking at the exhibits. Well worth it if you have an hour to spare."

"This is a lovely venue that gets used for things other than just the museum. For example there is a yoga and well-being class on Monday mornings by northern light yoga (Naomi Dalton takes it). It has a kitchen area as well. The people that run the venue are really nice and very professional and organised as well. You can park in Waitrose car park for free for a couple of hours which is handy :-)
Ps the museum is very interesting as well."
