"One of the most memorable and challenging golf courses I played during my two weeks in Scotland. Not just the famous fifth hole but also #2, 6 and 7 due to the small greens, contouring and wind!

Club staff were exceptionally friendly. The greens and bunkers were in excellent condition (better than Old Course). If you’re a a single or twosome, try to get paired up with a member. I was fortunate enough to play with two very hospitable gentlemen. Thanks David and Fraser!"

"Hidden gem!!! I found in a book a read so we decided to play a quick as our warm up before The Old Course. Best move ever! We could. It believe how scenic it was. Some fun drivable 4’s. 3 really hard par 3’s. So cool!! Highly recommend as a warm up instead of hitting range balls if you have the time."

Anstruther Golf Course is a stunning hidden gem that every golf enthusiast should experience. After reading about this charming course before our trip to Anstruther, I made it a priority to play a round with my son, and it did not disappoint. The course, though small, is well maintained, offering a beautiful blend of scenic coastal views and challenging holes that test your skills at every turn.

The layout is truly special, with each hole presenting its own unique challenge. The standout is undoubtedly the famous 5th hole (par 3). Standing on the tee box, the shot is as daunting as it is exhilarating, requiring precision and nerve—definitely a hole you won’t forget anytime soon!

The green fees are very reasonable, offering excellent value for such a well-kept and memorable course. The welcoming atmosphere and the sense of history add to the overall experience, making it a course you’ll want to return to.
