"⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
A perfect family day out — peaceful, pretty, and full of charm
We had a fantastic day out at Lymm Dam with our young boys. It’s a beautiful, peaceful spot with just the right mix of woodland walks, calm water, and village charm.
The kids loved exploring the shady forest paths and climbing onto old tree stumps for a drink stop. We saw loads of ducks and swans gliding across the water — plenty of chances to feed them too.
The cottages along the dam are like something out of a storybook, with white walls, yellow doors, and flower boxes bursting with colour. The whole area is spotless and well-kept, and there are benches everywhere to pause and take in the view.
It’s an easy walk for little legs, with no steep hills or tricky terrain. Great for families, nature lovers, or anyone needing a breather from busy life.
Tip: Take a bottle of water and a camera — you’ll want to remember how peaceful it feels here.
Highly recommended. We’ll definitely be back."

Bella (our dog) absolutely loves it here – plenty of space for a good walk and a dip in the water. It’s a lovely, peaceful spot for a family stroll, and the kids always have fun searching for the painted rocks hidden along the paths. A great mix of nature, wildlife, and simple adventures. Highly recommended!"
