I’m in Leeds and this is my view from my bedroom window. I know that it’s going over to Huddersfield as you can see Castle hill and Emily moor tower so I’m guessing the mountains behind are the Pennines but not sure which is which and what I see everyday. Please enlighten me.

Reviews Summary

Visitors consistently praise Holme Moss Viewpoint for its absolutely stunning, expansive panoramic views and the convenience of its large, free car park. It's a highly recommended stop for a scenic drive and photography. However, the lack of amenities like public toilets is a recurring point of disappointment for some.

"The views up here are very rewarding especially after the scenic route to get here. The carpark is huge and very spacious usually motorbikes and roadsters. Would like to see some public toilets here or maybe a pub with a roof terrace overlooking this valley that would be ace."

"Perfect photo opportunity! Great spot to park up and take in the amazing views. Plenty of space to park if its a group of cars/motorcycles. The TV tower does look small in the pictures, but once you’re there you get to know the actual size of it."

Pratik Gawde

"Great viewpoint from here. This is a carpark that me and my partner often stop at when driving home from the Peak District so we can stretch our legs and swap who's driving! I'm sure there's also places you could walk from here.
There's often quite a few cars in here enjoying the view! Completely free too."
