Reviews Summary
Visitors consistently praise Groombridge Place for its beautiful gardens, magical Enchanted Forest, and captivating Birds of Prey shows. Many highlight it as a wonderful family day out with unique attractions like the Zeedonk and free-roaming peacocks. While some areas might be closed or undergoing renewal, the overall experience is highly recommended for its charm and engaging activities.
"What a beautiful day out. Lovely areas of beauty and animals roaming freely around. Couple of nice places for children to play, teepees and falconry display, which was magical. The giant swing nor the canal boat was available, a little disappointing but did not ruin our day. Fantastic peacocks strutting around, the children loved that but don't get too close. Just a peaceful place to take the family and burn some energy if you so desire. Plenty of woodland to walk around and water pools to look at and admire the carps."

"What a beautiful place. The grounds are very well manicured. First time here and thoroughly enjoyed it. Being met by amazing peacocks to begin with (and Easter bunnies) the rest of the place didn’t disappoint. It’s spread over a large area and is very picturesque. The main house is closed and it does seem to be in a state of renewal and the cafe has just been taken over by new management
(3rd of April 2022).
Some of the areas are magical and our three year old and Mum and Dad all said we will be coming back for sure"

"Had such a brilliant day out. Weather wasn't totally in our favour when we arrived but it didn't spoil our fun. We came ready for the wet weather so as long as you've got your wellies you'll be fine.
Bird of prey was great and the children loved it. All the wooded area is great for kids big and small 🤣 The added refreshments and toilet area is a welcome addition to when we came last.
Highly recommend a visit 👌"
