"I use to come here every Sunday as a child with my Aunt until I moved to Scotland aged 10.
I have only got back 3 times since once for a wedding, funeral and this ladt visit for pleasure.
My husband who is used to small Scottish Churches blown away.
It is amazing years have gone by I walk in and it feels like "my safe space".
I have so many happy memories there and awesome to see work being done on Chapter House I remmber fund raising for it and the opening of it the circle if life continues.
I was able to visit it with my Aunt outwith service times a Kind lady allowed us in to share memories it will stay with me forever.
I miss the dark pews but see logic in chairs that can be moved so space can have multiple uses it is a pity they were not in dark wood to keep with awesome wood used within church but can see also how it brightens the space.
The font I so remmber my brother howling head off being christened and although I was only 7 him being given to me to fir want if better phrase "shut him up" only time in life it worked.
Anytime I get down St Andrews is where I want to go, I would love one day to take my daughter and son in law who got married ladt year down so they could have a blessing done and actually be able to attend a service.
However thank you for allowing us in as those memories from childhood and once again so many years later being there with my Aunt are priceless"
