Visitors consistently praise Go Ape Peebles for its exhilarating treetop adventures and the professionalism of its staff, particularly highlighting instructors like Chris and Luca for their excellent guidance and friendly demeanor. The stunning location in Glentress Forest and the thrill of Scotland's highest zip line are major draws, though some wish for more Tarzan swings.
"Fantastic experience start to finish. Very welcoming and knowledgeable staff (big shout out to Luca!) who give clear and simple instructions before getting on our way and they are around if you ever need them. Would love an extra Tarzan swing on the course but the zip line experiences are amazing."

"Visited GoApe with my partner and 3 kids (only my partner, 15 year old and 10 year old participated!) for the Treetop Challenge. It was the most amazing day. The staff are exceptional - friendly, attentive, polite and extremely knowledgable. The venue is perfect and the treetop challenge is ran very well and instructors on hand to help throughout.
Special mention to Chris - Chris was first class. He was great with the kids, patient, warm, friendly and very professional. A real asset to GoApe."

"This was the best Go Ape experience EVER! We came to Glentress Forest and stayed at one of the Forest Holiday cabins for my moms 60th. We decided to try Go Ape for the first time and the entire experience was super lovely. Despite being late the staff was super friendly and they had the cutest dog in the hut. It was the perfect ice breaker when she cheekily escaped lol
After getting suited and booted our instructor Chris made sure to teach us how to use our harness properly. Safety was their number one priority which we really appreciated.
I have to say the view from Glentress Forest tree tops is nothing short of stunning. I love how they positioned each of their stations going further up the mountain after every completed run. Every completed section ends with a zipline which gets longer, higher and more fun (in my case absolutely terrifying) each time. Chris always made sure that we are safe. I don‘t know how I managed thid course as my body was ready to give up after the second station but all instructors were super encouraging. I have a host of health problems such as lipoedema all over my body, hypermobile EDS which causes my joints to dislocate when I exercise, etc. but I really wanted to do something like Go Ape before it all gets worse. I felt my shoulder joints and pelvic bone subluxating especially when I attempted the tarzan swing meaning I had to compensate with my muscles.
I died, gone to heaven, sent back straight to hell and came back to life trying to battle that obstacle BUT Chris and his team members were super supportive and encouraging giving me the best tips as well as offering to help.
I was so close to giving up when I saw that I could avoid the tarzan swing in the next course. In that moment I am certain I heard angels singing hallelujah 🥹
Really proud of myself that I managed to complete the entire course and I am super grateful for Chris and the other instructors making it so fun for my mother and me. We cannot thank you enough…although my physio therapist was far from amused after seeing the damage I caused my joints, but ah well it was totally worth it 🤭"
