"If you go to no other museum visit the John Buchan Story museum. I am a big fan of his work so was in heaven. His story is told brilliantly with great exhibits and interesting videos relating various aspects of his life. The museum is run by a dedicated bunch of volunteers who are knowledgeable and enthusiastic. The normal opening hours are spring to autumn but we emailed about a visit in November and a date was agreed, we had a private tour for two, now that is special. There is no entry fee either (donations are welcome) and there is a fantastic range of books, both new and second hand to browse. Just visit and see for yourself."
