What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors often praise the impressive power of the water jets and the beauty of the waterfalls, finding the hydropower museum informative. However, some feel the admission price is quite high for the relatively short duration of the visit and the challenging nature of the steeper paths.
"The museum was interesting, and the water jets were extremely powerful. A steep but short walk, and we were at the waterfalls. They are nice but didn't really have the wow factor. It costs £10 per adult, and we were there for about 15 minutes. Bearing in mind, there is a free to enter flood exhibition inside the memorial hall down the road, and you can see the water jets and the lower part of the waterfalls from the road the entrance price was very expensive! The best part was the rainbow created by the water jets. If the admission was less, then yes, it would be worth a visit, but sadly, we felt a little ripped off 🙁"

"Had a lovely afternoon walking around the Glen lyn gorge. We didn't make it all the way to the top, it's definitely a hike 😂 but the views of the falls are amazing, and the history behind them is top tier!
Not for the infirm but an amazing view we'll worth the hike."
