What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors consistently praise Conwy Quay for its charming atmosphere, the unique appeal of the Smallest House, and the stunning backdrop of Conwy Castle. The quality of local seafood and the friendly staff at nearby establishments are also frequently highlighted. Some guests note that rooms in older hotels might feel a bit dated, but this is often outweighed by the location and overall experience.
"Got married at this hotel, so it is a very special place to my husband and I! A friendly welcome, very efficient check in. Gorgeous room with a lovely little balcony overlooking the courtyard. We stayed B&B, breakfast was delicious, very busy, ensure you book a time when you book, however despite the staff being busy service was great, they were very hard working! Would definitely stay again and highly recommend. Recommend a splurge on the penthouses / suites overlooking the estuary. They’re fabulous!"

"We spent three nights at this hotel and intend re-visiting in the very near future. The location is outstanding with views over the estuary towards Conwy and the castle, or out towards the sea, at the mouth of the estuary. Sea views are worth every penny as you watch the ever changing estuary and the stunning landscape, with sea birds constantly passing by, or feeding by the rivers edge. The hotel has all the facilities you could need to keep you entertained regardless of the weather and the staff are outstanding. Every single person we met from Katie and Maria on reception to the man dutifully watering every flower (of which there is a huge number) in the gardens was so friendly and helpful. The food in the restaurant is a real surprise because it is so much better than most hotels often rather bland offerings! If you like quality cuisine at reasonable prices then you will love the restaurant. In trying to balance a review of a venue we truly loved on our first visit we would say that the rooms though spacious, spotlessly clean and comfortable are slightly dated. Our room had an overhead shower over a bath which for a hotel of this quality is rare these days. Still this is a small price to pay for such a lovely venue with great food, wonderful staff and a stunning location. Well done to all the staff and the owners for creating somewhere so special."

"We recently went here for a small weekend break in Conwy; I believe this is the nicest hotel in the area.
The room was very clean, I have Severe OCD and inspect things quite closely and couldn’t complain. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was spotless, we even had a decent size TV and a small balcony.
We came to find out the spa was included with our stay, it has a decent size swimming pool, a jacuzzi, foot spa and three different types of saunas.
The restaurant was decent though quite expensive, however breakfast was included and was quite good for a morning boost before walking around Conwy.
We really enjoyed it and would return if we want to visit the area again."
