What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors consistently praise the spectacular and diverse gardens at Cottesbrooke Hall, calling them a highlight. The Queen Anne house interior, with its fine collections of furniture, porcelain, and art, is also well-regarded. However, some find the admission price for gardens only to be expensive, and accessibility in certain garden areas can be challenging due to uneven terrain.
"Most spectacular gardens such a diverse layout every corner of the gardens was unique definitely worth a visit 😀 5 star"
Chris Evans
"The gardens are beautiful here. However, for a family, it is rather expensive for what it is. The cakes are very tasty. Didn't get to go around the house as there wasnt time. There are some very uneven grounds, and most areas in the gardens would be unsuitable for less stable people or people in wheelchairs or pushchairs. There are, however, some beautiful gardens to explore if you are able bodied and have the time. Due to the time they are open I would suggest arriving early to be able to take in all the gardens and have a cup of tea and cake. I think given the time they are open it would be hard to explore both the house and gardens, though if you want to explore both fully"

"Hidden gem of a house and gardens, open limited times so check their website and it's worth pre booking the house tours. Highly recommended."
