"Beautiful views away from everyone. Can be very isolated so bring something to grab attention if needed. I slipped and snapped my ankle (at the TOP of the snout) on a solo hike and was difficult getting back to a place where I could be picked up - was fortunate enough to be met by a couple who gave me a hand up to the top of the dam."

Joe Curtis

"Absolutely beautiful place, nice walk down from carpark at Cowgreen Reservoir. Make sure to pay for parking (not very well sign posted at all.) There’s a couple of very aggressive sheep who don’t like you walking the path, one was getting very verbal and bowing its head. We saw grouse, geese and lots of other birds. The fall is stunning, worth the scramble down the crags"
