What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors rave about the stunning coastal views and the unique experience of walking on Filey Brigg at low tide. The opportunity for rock pooling and crabbing is a hit with families. Some note the importance of checking tide times and wearing appropriate footwear for safety.
"We walked to here from Filey town. Catch it on a nice day and it's lovely over at Filey Brigg. There are steps down to the beach from the county park, although there is also a couple of other paths albeit a bit more difficult to navigate, and not sure how 'official' they are as paths...! We found the slope down from the cafe the easiest with the kids (after walking round at the top!)"

"Beautiful place to visit. We parked at the carpark in the top of the cliff. Used the RingGo app to pay for parking, was around £2.60 for 1 hour, to use the machines it only accepts coins. Toilets available, 40p with coins or contactless. We then used the steps to get down to the beach and up the road from the sailing club to get back up. Lots of rock pools to go crabbing in (can buy crabbing equipment in Filey). Be mindful of the tides. Wear sturdy shoes, the rocks can be slippery."
