"We visited this lovely place on a warm sunny late spring day, and it was just perfect. For a couple of old men, it brought back so many memories of childhood visits to model villages across the country. This one is a great representative of the few that are left. It is a total gem, the models, figures, vehicles and well looked after and a pleasure to look at. The garden, plants and flowers are magnificent. does well to evoke the local towns and seaside resorts. Well worth the entrance fee. Cafe on site looks good but was packed out so we didn't try it. A fair amount on onsite car parking as well."

"We took our 2 ten year old grandchildren to this model village, they have a quiz where you have to spot items as you travel round the area. The buildings grounds and gardens are in excellent condition. You can go around as many times as you like. There is free parking nice clean facilities a cafe and a picnic area with tables and umbrellas. Would recommend"

"Great little place nestled on the North Bay/Sewerby area and worth a visit if you have the time. Lovely bit of Nostalga for me as my hometown also has a model village. Its probably difficult to compete in the high dopamine world of computer games and social media. But if you go along, grab the questionnaire/quiz as it helps you focus and look out for some of the details that might miss if you just wandered about aimlessly. If you get the answers right...you get a lollypop too!!! Some lovely touches and 'Easter eggs' linking to local places and venues including the Yorkshire Belle ship in the harbour.
There is also a little tearoom to grab some refreshments after you wander around."
