"A real gem of a golf course. Played a society day with some of the members here at Bridport and west Dorset golf club, and I must say what a lovely lovely club. Members were so welcoming and friendly, the bar staff were great too.
The course itself played very well, greens were fantastic, a very picturesque course with a mixture of challenging holes, obviously links style with some blind shots and tricky slopes just off the green, but forgiving enough that wayward tee shots have a chance of being found!
My highlight was shooting a birdie 3 on the stroke index 1 15th, then bombing a drive on 16th, 4 of the best series of shots I hit all summer, followed by 4 of the worst strokes I’ve hit for a while to blob the 16th hole😅
The meal afterwards was amazing too. Compliments to the chef and his team!
