"Absolutely loved it here. Our first time visiting and won't be our last.
Car parking very reasonable for the full day (unlike High Lodge down the road)
The trails are really clearly marked with someone going around to check on the posts and cut back any overgrown plants around them.
Staff we spoke to were all really lovely.
Cafe was fab. Dog friendly (including a dog menu) and the all day breakfast was one of the best cooked I've ever had."
Heidi Adams
"Such a lovely place to walk the dog, explore and relax.
Miles of various routes through forest, tracks and heath.
There are also cycle routes too.
Car parking is £2 for upto 2hours or £3 for the day. The car park is quite small (overflow parking available) and can be very busy at the weekends and school holidays. There is a play area, cafe and toilets. Dogs are welcome. As with all forest places now, bins are limited.
We went on a Wednesday, and whilst the car park was still quite busy, we hardly saw anyone else."
